"The lack of rear grip is a critical problem for me. I can't utilize the rear to turn the bike or accelerate effectively. It's a challenge I've had since the start of the season, and it's something I really hope the team can fix during the break," Bagnaia explained.
In the German Grand Prix, Bagnaia managed a respectable sixth-place finish, but he acknowledges that it was a difficult race. He highlights some positives, such as improved tire management, but the rear grip issue remains a significant concern.
"I'm pleased with the result, but I know we can do better. The team is working hard, and I have faith in their ability to find a solution. It's a complex issue, but I believe we'll overcome it," he added.
During the race, Bagnaia had an interesting battle with Jorge Martin of Aprilia. Both riders were compensating for different weaknesses, and Bagnaia made a calculated decision not to take unnecessary risks, knowing that finishing the race was more important.
"It was a strategic move. I learned from past experiences that consistency pays off. I tried to overtake in a safe manner, but it wasn't possible this time. We'll keep pushing and hopefully find a solution to these issues soon," Bagnaia reflected.
